The more pressing question regarding God's will is for more specific instructions: What should I do now? I'm having so much trouble taking care of my sick mother, but I feel guilty about putting her in a nursing home. What is God's will? I have an offer for a much better job, but it requires relocating and my children don't want to go. These are our daily challenging questions, the decisions that face us every day and that beg to be addressed. Tell me what to do! And tell me in a loud voice, so I can hear it.
But, ask yourself seriously, even if God did tell you in a loud voice what to do, would you listen? Would you always follow instructions? My neighbor is driving me crazy every day. So often we look for outside answers to inside problems. Remember, there is a divinity within you. No matter what your problem appears to be, the real problem is seldom the problem you see.
You find yourself asking your friends, your neighbors, and your loved ones for answers. Down at the bottom of inspector there should be a audio preview window. Click on that and make sure it plays. I've thought that that min-max distance is calculated automatically by Unity based on gameObject borders, in this case this is "water borders".
I came across the problem when I was testing the in-game menu I made and I clicked to quit to start menu. When it goes back to the start menu, the music from the previous scene is still playing because of the Don'tDestroyOnLoad. I'd really appreciate it if someone could explain how I can make it stop the old music.
Couldn't you just explicitly call Destroy on it when you go to a scene where you no longer need the music? Now, not only does the background always fit the size of the phone, the floor part will always stay in view! This will add a Button object to the scene. You should see it in the Hierarchy. In other words, a button is just an image with a child Text element and an attached button script. Then select the nested Text element and set its Text to Start Game.
Change the Font Size to 32 to make the text of the button larger. Now you have a button, but it needs a facelift! You set the image for buttons and images in the same way. After all, they use the same component. However, images rarely scale, especially non-uniformly. Buttons, on the other hand, often come in different sizes. You could create a background image for every single button size in your game, but why waste all that space?
This technique works by creating different images for each of nine zones, all of which scale differently. Before you can use a sliced image, you need to set its nine zones. Next, click on the Sprite Editor button to open the Sprite Editor view. Remember to click Apply! After preparing all your images, drag them to the corresponding fields in the Inspector.
Select StartButton in the Hierarchy and follow these steps:. This will make the button mega-awesome. Using a custom font is easy. Remember the Fonts folder in the package you downloaded and added to the project?
Select the Text element nested within StartButton in the Hierarchy. Also set the Color to white. The rest is almost identical to they way you created the Start Game button. The final task for this part is to click the Start Game button and run the second scene in the game itself. Before you can run different scenes, you need to add them to the Scenes in Build list in the Project Settings.
This will open the Build Settings dialog. Then open the Scenes folder in the Project browser. When you add an event handler to the button, you need to specify which method to call when you click the button.
